The steam engine came about after centuries of work by numerous scientist engineers and even writers. It came from a compilation of work and theories....
You will learn more about the steam engine and design a poster on it. First of all answer these questions and include them in your project:
- Who patented the first atmospheric steam engine and when?
- Who improved on its design by producing a self acting atmospheric engine?
- Who made the steam engine finally a truly viable piece of machinery in the 2nd half of the 18th century?
Then describe the steam engine and draw it, but it is better you design your own steam engine by using paper or cardboard and stick it to your poster: make it move!!
